The temperature of so many things can affect the quality of your paint job. Everything from the outside temperature, moisture, to that of the paint itself, the surface you’re painting on, and especially the amount of humidity outside will need to be considered before painting outdoors. The ideal temperature for using our paints is around 25 ºC (77 ºF) with the humidity being as low as possible. We know this isn’t always possible, so we recommend keeping the temperature range between 1.7 ºC to 37.8 ºC. Every Benjamin Moore paint has its own specifications and optimal temperature range found on the product label or Technical Data Sheet.
