DIY: CHOOSING THE RIGHT COLOUR

It can seem overwhelming or daunting to choose the right colour(s), with over 2,000 colours where to even begin?!

Start with less options; our most popular and "tried & true" colours.

Our Most Popular Whites & Off-Whites

Whites & off whites are timeless and extremely versatile (once you choose the right one).

TIP: Whites & their subtle undertones are most affected by other whites in the space, if pairing a white paint colour with other whites (cabinets, countertops, tiles etc), confirm the white against those materials to ensure the undertones match = the perfect white for your space!

The colours will always look different from screens to paint / in person. You should always test the colour with a minimum 1' x 1' sample in the room for a few days before committing.
  • Our Most Popular Neutrals

The "safe" choice, like white, neutrals are extremely versatile but create a cozier feeling.

TIP: With neutrals, the undertones can vary from: each space, exposure and natural to synthetic lighting.

Our Most Popular Light - Medium Tone Colours

Lighter colours make the space feel brighter, "airy", therefor making the space feel larger.

TIP: With colours, they will generally look brighter and more saturated on a larger scale / walls.

The colours will always look different from screens to paint / in person. You should always test the colour with a minimum 1' x 1' sample in the room for a few days before committing.

Our Most Popular Deep / Dramatic Colours

Dramatic deep tones are good for a cozy space, accent walls (or half-walls), a small but dramatic statement room (say powder room, den/games room), and perfect for exteriors.

TIP: With deep and dramatic colours, they will generally look more saturated / stronger and or darker on a larger scale.
